| Welcome to www.QuickPicTips.com, a basic tutorial to help brokers, agents and other sales professionals to make the most of their digital photos! After years of experience as a sales assitant in the boat, car, and real estate industries, this is an effort to post examples of my best basic tips to help sales professionals optimize their photo presentations for the internet.
While this tutorial does not go into detail about photo editing software and exactly what the steps are (there are just too many programs out there), it does indicate what to look for in your 'Help' files to find and use the best tools that most programs offer. You'll see 'before and after' examples of how worthwhile it is to become proficient with these tools to improve your online presentations! Additionally you'll find a few pointers on taking the best shots as we go along, and I'm always interested in new content to add to these pages... Ready? Let's review the sections: 1. Sizing - Understanding resolution & print size 2. Orientation - Horizontal and vertical shots 3. Cropping - Don't use bandwidth for non-relevant photo material 4. Correcting 'Tilt' - No more cattywampus! 5. Brightness & Contrast - Why I don't use a flash 6. Levels of Light - If you learn nothing else, learn this one... 7. Sharpening Focus - When it works and when it doesn't 8. Hue & Saturation - Correcting oversaturation (like too much yellow, etc.) 9. Color Balance - When you want to leave some of that color in the shot...
